The cost of professional web or graphic design can vary greatly depending on your project specs. This is specifically why I offer only a few design packages and do everything else based on your custom specs.

Design houses with cookie cutter pricing by number of webpages, graphics, or text count often give you template or generic design. They offer little customization and no extra functionality. They are trying to customize what they can fit into their pricing as opposed to what your real needs are. Custom design does not have to be extremely expensive or out of your reach. If your working with a designer who is listening to your needs and wants you should still be able to maximize your cost for your design needs. I listen to your needs and wants and give you feedback based on what your business needs. I can tell you what will work for you and other site features you may not have thought of. I research your competitors and learn what captivates your target audience.

Domain names and Hosting packages are another separate cost, but a fairly small one. Basic site hosting can be as low as $10/month; $15 to $25 monthly hosting fees are common. These costs are directly related to the size and visitor activity on your site, so online popularity can increase your monthly bills. Domain names are usually between $8-10 to register for the year.
