That thought was on the minds of TireVan’s founders, Pat Garvey and David Leslie, as they were buying tires (Pat in Los Angeles, Dave in Washington, DC). Both were high tech executives/entrepreneurs, internet bubble survivors, with a belief in the unrealized power of technology. Both spent their careers applying technology and creativity to generate products and services designed to satisfy the customer. And both were killing time drinking bad coffee and reading 2-year-old magazines while their tires were being installed. They wondered, does it have to be this much of a hassle?


When Pat and Dave compared notes, an idea was born.

Applying years of high tech experience combined with a passion and knowledge of performance cars, Pat and Dave realized that the time has come for a change in the tire business, based on these simple facts:

Installation can be done at the customer's doorstep. Top of the line tire changing and balancing equipment has proven adaptable for mobile use.


A mobile business produces minimal overhead. This enables a business to provide a great value, as well as a great service, to customers.
